Sleep apnea (snoring)
Do you snore or does your partner´s snoring bother you?
You often feel not rested, are you impaired in your performance?
Do you go to sleep regularly, wake up in the morning and feel like you haven´t slept?
Do you find it difficult to sleep through a night completely?
If you answer "Yes" to one or more questions, this may be an indication of a lack of oxygen during sleep. Incorrect positioning of the jaws can cause or exacerbate such problems.
A special splint (also called mandibular advancement splint) can move your lower jaw to a different position and improve your problems. This method can also be used if mask therapy (continuous positive airway pressure CPAP) is not tolerated or not desired (on the recommendation of your ENT doctor or sleep specialist).
Your partner will enjoy a more pleasant, calmer sleep and you will regain a better quality of life through a more restful sleep.
